Here at CSUB's Edible Garden, we will be offering a variety of produce for purchase, however we love to share our gardening tips with the community. Below are some essentials to guarantee yours to be the greenest gaden on the block.
Landscaping
Remove any weeds, rocks & roots
Kill Bermuda
Rotoill Soil- break up to 10 inch depth
Import compost & spread across beds
Select seeds & starts, plant appropriately
Lighting
Proper lighting is a key factor for proper nutrients and growth

Check your water source regularly
Test water system before use
Irrigation
Have a reliable water source by installing a good sprinkler system
Fit the pipes and set the risers
